Anja Wutz, CSW
Anja enjoys exercising, crafts, skiing, socializing with friends, cooking, and cuddling with her cats. She earned her cosmetology license from the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology college, two bachelor's degrees in Health Promotion and German Language & Literature with a Nutrition minor from Weber State University, a Master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition from Utah State University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Weber State University, and is wrapping up her PhD in Nutrition Science from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Anja has experience treating substance abuse disorders, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, dual diagnosis, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, sex workers, older adults, justice-involved individuals, families, eating disorders and those struggling with body image issues, gender-related issues (male, binary, gender fluid, female, questioning), women's issues, trauma, refugees and asylum seekers, LGBTQIA2S+ populations, and group therapy. She is trained in CBT, certain DBT skills, and written exposure therapy. Anja believes in using a compassionate, holistic, health equity, and strengths-based approach where the client is the expert of their own life experience and with the mindset that every person deserves to enjoy maximal wellness by also incorporating nutritional interventions to the traditional therapeutic approach.
