Jessi Shipley, LCSW
Jessi is an L.A. native who is learning to enjoy the beautiful outdoors Utah has to offer. She specializes in trauma treatment and has spent the last 4 years working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma and intimate partner violence. She also has experience working with anxiety, depression, women's issues, relationship and attachment concerns, grief, loss, and acute and complex trauma. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Expressive Arts and Play Therapy, and Mind Body Bridging. She believes each individual requires a tailored approach which allows her to be creative and collaborative in the therapeutic process. She genuinely enjoys getting to know people and helping them find the relief they are looking for. Her education includes a bachelor's in social work and minor in psychology from Utah State University and a master's in social work from the University of Southern California.
